I directed a commercial for a product that was made by EMBODI members for a fundraiser.
I filmed one of the S.O.S. (Saving Our Sons) midnight basketball games sponsored by Mayor Mitch Landrieu.
I have been working with NORDC Teen Council since June 2012 and we have put on five events so far and three of which were made possible through our partnership with Chevron's Future Leaders Program.
I covered the First Lady Michelle Obama and many more at the Congressional Black Caucus 2012 in Washington D.C. as a reporter for an online publication.
I covered the President Barack Obama and many more at the National Urban League Conference 2012 in New Orleans as a reporter for an online publication.
I have been getting coverage of all the events Chevron's Future Leaders Program is helping to put on with NORDCTC. I will make a video to show our progress throughout the year's events.

July 13, 2012 Teen Camp Challenge
My friend introduced me to being a part of the NORDC Teen Council program and I tried it out one Saturday afternoon. I liked the fact that teens my age were getting their voices heard. I jumped in at the right time because they had a big event at a football stadium and they let give a helping hand and interact with other teens that came to the event. So now I am planning to work with NORDC TC on other upcoming events.

I don't think there could have been a better pick for my summer than the conservatory. I learned a lot of vital information and good tips all about media in the field with cameras and audio recorders . On the other hand we also learned a lot in the classroom with pen and paper.
